On the 23rd February, IDA took part in the discussion “Brexit: It’s implications for Germany; EU Foreign Policy, and Transatlantic Relations” organized by the German Marshal Funds of the United States (GMFUS). The invited guest speakers were Nicolai von Ondarza, a scientist at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs, and Hans Kundani, a research director for the European Council on Foreign Relations. During a high-level debate about Brexit and its consequences for Germany and Europe, IDA had a chance to contribute its expertise. IDA has set a focus on trade relations between Great Britain and Europe and has been successfully supporting British railways, transport and logistic companies on Brexit’s forthcoming impacts.
